Background, Education and Qualifications

Amy has more than twelve years of grassroots organizing, policy, and political issue campaign experience, including work as a press secretary for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and as a senior policy analyst for Public Citizen’s Critical Mass Energy and Environment Program. She also served as Rural Vermont’s director, where she doubled membership, created a volunteer and intern program, and developed a dynamic board. Most recently, she was the campaign manager for Doug Racine’s gubernatorial campaign, coming within 203 votes of winning, while spending less than half of the money spent by the winner.
